The Board of Directors voted to increase the Annual Assessment to $79.00 per year for 2010. This is a modest $3.00 increase from last year. Notices were mailed December 15th and are due in full by January 31, 2010. Late fees will be added to any payment not received or postmarked by that date. 2010 Proposed Budget
We are anticipating staying within of 2009 approved budget, but expenses have increased in a number of key areas this year, particularly tree upkeep on common grounds, accounting fees, and state required fees.
We will be working with a new lawn maintenance service (an FRHOA Resident) and were able to avoid any increases in this area. Legal fees showed savings from the approved budget since some anticipated actions did not occur, but increases in other actions, such as assessment collections, continue to rise. Currently 18 properties are still delinquent for 2009 and we are, unfortunately, proceeding to place liens against these properties.
